Privacy Policy

AutoKaam (“we”, “our”, “us”) publishes news, tutorials, and a tool directory at autokaam.com. This page describes what data we collect from readers, how we use it, and how to contact us about it. We do not sell reader data. We do not require an account to read anything.

What we collect

When you visit any page on autokaam.com, our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically logs standard request data: IP address, user-agent string, referrer, and the URL of the page requested. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for abuse-prevention and traffic-analysis purposes, and are not joined to any other identifier.

We do not run user accounts, comment systems, or login forms on this site. We do not set first-party tracking cookies. We do not fingerprint your browser.

Third-party services that may set cookies or log requests

• Google AdSense— if and when display ads are enabled on the site, Google may set advertising cookies and use the DoubleClick pixel to serve personalised ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. As of the “last updated” date above, AdSense is in pending review; this clause will not apply until ads actually serve.
• Search-engine indexing pings— when we publish a new article, we ping Google’s URL Inspection / Indexing API and the IndexNow protocol (Microsoft Bing, Yandex). No reader data is included in these pings, only article URLs.
• External links— the publishers we cite (TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Reuters, Wikipedia, GitHub, etc.) operate their own privacy policies once you click through.

Images and credits

Hero and inline images are sourced from Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons, Pexels, and publisher pages with appropriate attribution. We do not host reader-uploaded images. If an image on our site infringes your copyright, see the takedown contact below.

Your rights (EU GDPR + UK GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right under GDPR to request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or restrict its processing. Because we do not run accounts and our hosting logs are retained for at most 30 days and rotated automatically, in most cases there is no persistent personal record to act on. Your rights (California CCPA)

California residents have the right under the CCPA to know what personal information we have collected, to delete it, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children

AutoKaam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
